Prayer - Part 5

Sorry it's been so long since I posted! I've been busy. Tonight's post is on Matthew 18:19-20.

Matthew 18:19-20 (NKJV)
19
“Again I say to you that if two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be done for them by My Father in heaven. 20 For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them.”

=========================================
This verse concerns prayers that we say during worship and in small gatherings of believers who have come together to pray for concerns. If a person has a prayer request and the other people who are in the group agree with the person in prayer, then the Father will listen and grant their requests, if the request is in line with His will for the situation. (See the last blog post for commentary on this.)

Private prayer is for telling the Father our wants and needs. You may not want to share this personal information with others. There may be some situations, though, where you feel the need to have others join in prayer with you. There is power in praying in groups.

Well, that's all for now. Thanks for reading and have a great evening!

Diane
